This album is dedicated to Luther Allison, Jeff Buckley, Michael Edges, and Tony Williams, who all left us too soon. Their presence is reflected in the music on this recording.

"As per usual, the music on this recording was done predominantly "live" to analog tape. However, this being our second studio LP, we thought we would experiment a little, overdubbing additional instruments on some songs.
Also, as per usual, all guitar solos were recorded "live" with the exception of "Larger Than Life".
All vocals were overdubbed except "John The Revelator" and "Raven Black Night" which were recorded "live"."
