BNB - Hostile mp3 album

Warning ! This is not the most well-known Bonobo, aka Simon Green, who's done this album. Indeed, "Hostile" is an album produced by another project called Bonobo too. However, if Simon Green is British, here we have a band composed by three Dutch boys called Bert Van Der Grift, his brother Remco and Ernest Petrus.Unfortunately, their collaboration was very short-lived, therefore "Hostile" is their only studio album. But what an album !Released in 1998, "Hostile" is a succession of breakbeat tracks and is part of the big beat era as well. My personal favorites are "Magic Of Numbers", which reminds a bit the style of Apollo 440, then "Cortina" which is a sort of mix between the beats of the Chemical Brothers and the strange melodies of Aphex Twin and "Everything U Do" which has the energy of the early 90's rave scene, thanks to musicians such as The Prodigy and Underworld.So, if you're a fanatic of the electronic music of the nineties, don't hold back and buy this album as long as there still are ones.
