My copy is immaculate!! Beautiful packging with inserts.. Wonderful job by Black Editions! !

Mine is also in very good condition, near mint except for some dirty on surface of the vinyl; luckily, it doesn't affect sound and the numerous silences are almost neated. The new imprint Black Editions has done a remarkable job also in terms of packaging, with the really sturdy jacket, its two-coloured and textured tones as desired per the artist and those black paper inserts containing credits, tracklist and letters (both in Japanese and translated into English) printed in silver ink, plus the postcard with the pic of Haino. We'll be tracking these folks nearby in the future, sure.

My copy is great. I Have a lot of records with silence and very quiet sections, where surface noise issues are particularly pronounced, and this is definitely one of the better ones.

Anyone else had bad luck with their copy of this? Mine arrived warped, with a big scuff on side A and plays with quite a few clicks and pops throughout.

Mine has a lot of scuffs. Inexplicable really, probably the paper sleeve at fault. But it is overall a very quiet pressing, with only occasional light crackle. Also not much warp in the vinyl either. Very happy overall except for the light scuffs.

Also I played it again and there are more pops than I would like to, but then again music in very silent (with long periods of absolute silence even) so it's rather inevitable - everything is very noticable here. Yes, I am beginning to think that it's perhaps more noticeable because of the periods of silence in the music. Although you'd hope that the label would have known this would be an issue, and therefore ensured minimal or no pops due to the nature of the music.

VVHK Mine arrived in poor condition - I have not played it yet but I have sent a full set of photographs s to Black Editions and await their response. The cover is badly dinged and the record is scuffed everywhere....decent packing and a polythene inner would probably have saved all this. I'd be interested to see what they say about it. I haven't contacted them yet.

Thanks for the info. Heard from 3 others now who also say their copies are fine. 1 person said they had scuffs, but didn't affect play back. I guess I've had bad luck. I'll see if I can flatten it and will give it a clean to see if it improves playback. Cheers.

No. Mine was flat, no scuffs or scratches (they could use polyline inner sleeve for such edition though) and minimal pops and clicks.

eissue of a 1981 Vinyl, this album is a solo and consists of 12 short pieces and one piece along 28 '. It is simply amazing. It is a great guitar inventiveness, things he does not necessarily present. The last piece is simply furious during 28 minutes. A great album.
