very nice pressing of a really great record that will nicely brighten up a house or disco set. sounds fantastic.
Opimath
not much info about the label, seems to be an unofficial reissue. sounds really good

Tape imperfections? It's mastered from the original tapes? But there are only 250 copies? And it sounds like shit? Really?

It’s a bootleg. There aren’t any tape imperfections. It’s mastered from vinyl. But if that’s your thing, cool.

My copy seems to saturate most of the time Venus Dodson sings the words "every night", but not only. Mostly on her voice. Anybody else?

If you play the sound sample on Soundcloud you can hear a slight distortion at 1:50ish. That does sound like tape imperfection. Maybe what you are talking about. And another time at 2:41ish https://soundcloud.com/kinfine-records/kinf005-venus-dodson-shining

Just played again, twice in succession, I can't hear anything that sounds out of place. There's nothing wrong with my copy, anyway. Sounds like you either got a dodgy copy (contact where you bought it and ask them to check it out) or perhaps you should check your stylus and your amp-to-speaker cables... good luck!

I think what we're actually saying here is actually, Bootleg incoming! Great. Just what the world needs.
