Pretty good stuff. For being their first release in over 10 years, it doesn't do anything massively groundbreaking, but you can definitely tell it's Empirion. Like their older material, I Am Electronic / Red Noise smoothly and elegantly mixes techno and industrial. It sounds modern but also a bit retro with some use of acid 303 noises. The biggest reason to get this CD Maxi however are the bonus tracks Strange and Clear The Area which have previously been kind of hard to acquire. Clear The Area feels like a tribute to Ministry's Twitch album and it's kind of a joy to listen to. Definitely grab this as both the single tracks and the bonus tracks are solid club bangers.
