this is the original uk release from 2013 for this great saxon cd set, this comes with a bonus disc of some awesome sounding re recordings of old classic saxon songs that feature very unique versions of these songs, they basically are not metal versions to much wich makes for great listening......... nice booklet digi pack set this came in to...

It should be noted that the D2C Sacrifice box set came in 2 versions.The DELUXE version contained an exclusive Saxon Sacrifice belt buckle and was limited to only 50 world wide.The remaining 450 were the STD edition which came without the buckle but otherwise identical.Be wary of STD editions (without the buckle) being wrongly advertised as deluxe.

ok so this record brings us to 2013, the only complaint most people have about this lp edition of sacrifice is please be aware before you buy this that it is a PICTURE DISC inside not a regular lp, i got this for my collection but stick to the cd for the best sound, this record was almost as good as call to arms was i would put this a bit behind call to arms as saxon seem to be writing new stuff now at a very fast pace and i feel this was a bit of a rushed lp if you know what i mean, regardless this record offers some great songs like made in belfast, wheels of terror and standing in a queue, the artwork for the sleeve as you can see is very nice!!!!! but the songs on call to arms where much more catchy like early 80s saxon songs where. also this lp/picture disc edition comes in a nice lp sleeve w/ lyrics and some photos....
