And Demdike also hop on the no-CD-CD-is-so-unhip bandwagon. Never mind that I CANNOT AFFORD A DECENT LP PLAYER or that in my 15 years of LP experience (early eighties - late nineties) I grew to HATE vinyl (the warping, the scratches, the hisses and pops) and came to love CD's (I own more than 1,000)... And digital? What if I, maybe because I'm such an old fart (over fifty - why what's he doing with DDStare?) love the physicality of the actual object... Even my beloved Autechre - to whose NTS Sessions I'm listening to right now, have chosen not to release elseq1-5 other than digitally... PEOPLE, PLEASE!

This is an amazing sounding piece of vinyl - dynamic and punchy. Nice and flat too. BUT...I have gone through two copies now (from different companies) and both have had at least two groove faults beginning half-way through track C3 Pile Up - needle simply stuck and began juddering on a continuous loop. Its such a shame as this could have been perfect. Has anyone else come across this problem? Also - If anyone out there has a copy that doesn't have this manufacturing fault, please please let me know where you purchased it. Thanks.

Glad its not just me. I've tried Juno, Rough Trade and pretty sure one other...lost track (no pun intended) now...If you happen to get hold of a copy without this issue or know of someone, please let me know. Like I said: its a shame because aside from this it sounds stunning. Thanks

I'm just here to say that the clear 2lp sounds fantastic. Great mastering, no surface noise or scratches that I can hear. I swear the intro song was a bit different than the digital edition, too.

I am wondering, I shall complain more to whom, to myself for being intrigued to see through passion, to the artist and or the label who, aside from not releasing a compact disc, release a limited edition, or to those who see it as opportune to purchase said limited edition for twenty bucks, perhaps purchasing two copies to keep one, solely in order to sell it or to sell one for multiple times that price?

I love owning special limited editions, but I'll never overpay for them. If I get in on the initial sale and grab a copy like I did here, that's cool. But people who pay double, triple, etc price to the scalpers are only encouraging that crap.

Agreed on both. Where is the compact disc?! Vinyl is too expensive.

I think as long as we have limited editions, we'll have scalping. I don't know why it's so essential to own a limited edition of something. It's definitely nice, but honestly it's so beside the point, especially if there's a regular and digital release. Things like the Giegling releases or the DJ Healer stuff though, is completely the fault of the artist/label and it's not very respectful towards buyers.

There is no way to select for it, but if you wouldn’t mind getting a black version, there seems to be a potential for getting a clear one through them.
