i have a few older CD's of imagination and i agree mostly on remastered releases i avoid if i can' but Arnaud Raliteis usually the best i have heard some of his masters and i have heard a lot worse and sometimes there is no other options' most of the older CD's are missing the full versions in there entirety' i also owned many budget compilation CD's although not compressed sounded rather like old cassette tapes.i am wanting to know if this disc contains any vinyl rips?

This release is mastered to aggressive (and compressed) for me. I'm missing the original dynamic quality of the 80s fresh taken with new A/D converters from original master tape.E.g. just tried to listen to "Just An Illusion" on my headphone but after 20 seconds I'd to put it away and searched for the other better versions I have on CD.

Great compilation, the best one out there imho.Anyway, the (slightly) extended version of Follow Me remains still unreleased on cd. It can only be found on the italian 12'' single, even if it's not labelled as such.http://www.discogs.com/Imagination-Follow-Me/release/1741336@ alan1074: the German edition of the 1983 Gold cd includes their first 10 singles. 33 compilations at the time of writing but this is the one you want a fantastic compilation that include the best in full entirety no album edits or fade outs here' this is a super release for fans of imagination I searched them all and found that the other compilation although some good and some bad' failed in at least one or two of the tracks either being badly mastered abruptly faded, partially edited' a re -recoding or even remixed. Who ever compiled this deserves a thumbs upand cleary shows how it's done right excellent.
