"Each cue from the original material was digitally remixed, then newly assembled with the aid of a digital computer system. The cues were edited with a larger musical portrait in mind as opposed to the strict 'film order' sequence. … We have utilized the actual cue titles Morricone assigned (the previous LP editions created new titles) but used them mainly to identify a section of material since several cues are constructed from shorter pieces."
