Hate to be a buzzkill but this is NOT some lost psych masterpiece like the second Contents Are album or Front Page Review. This is extremely pedestrian psych that didn’t stand out at all. Will give another spin in time, but this was a big disappointment at first go.

Yeah, I think you're right...sampled it...song writing is weak and the band sounds uninspiring...like a good garage psych band that runs out of gas by 1969...ie Strawberry Alarm Clock after their 3rd Lp. The band can't make the transition into hard rock and thus sounds weak.
