I owned this before all my 12"s were sent off to save the animals. The blue and white marble vinyl had, I assume, a severely detrimental affect to the sound quality, resulting in even more hiss than usual (yes, I'm not nostalgic about vinyl).As for the tracks - the 'Victim Of Love' [Remix] (3:40) and [Extended Mix] (7:10) are better than this Vixen Vitesse Mix. The original version of 'If I Could' (from 'The Circus', 3:52) is the one you want too. The Soldier's Return is nothing to write home about either (was that a pun?).I have uploaded my personal 'Best Of' Erasure (x3) compilation covers to my Flickr photos - which can be found via my profile (Goatlips), if you need help discerning their best tracks/versions (I own all the albums and all the singles box sets).

Never noticed before that track 1 and 2 are continuously mixed. Track 1 is a live segment that contains an intro to "victim of love" overlapped with the studio version (hence the "lp vers." subtitle), badly made though in my opinion. The complete live performance should have been included instead.
