Klute - We R The Ones (Klute Remix) / Chicks (Doc Scott Remix) mp3 album

The remix of "We R The Ones" has some great drums and weird, scifi beeps and boops, but it works. Not a great outstanding tune for me, but I like it. Some decent rumbling bass and barely noticeable samples of "We are the ones". Not bad. The remix of "Chicks" I thought sounded lame. Granted, I don't know the original, but the tune just goes nowhere and sounds totally lame. I was rather disappointed with this Klute release.

THE B.E.S.T. "We r the ones" mix! V.I.P. is a bit too rumbling - this one is precise and delicate but nevertheless works for a hardcore junglist who likes his beats raw and first of all innovative! On the flipside there is soooo underrated remix of "Chicks" by one & only, mastermind of the whole dnb scene, mr. Doc Scott. This track is one hell of a track - keepin' a good vibe, rockin' on its own, but givin' a dj an opportunity to move from a classic Cert. 18 or 31 rec. to a funkier sound of Full Cycle (especially great when mixing with the tracks like Die's "Jittabug")

Best _We Are The Ones_ remix, IMHO. VIP's a bit scraggly. Totally rolling beats, and the kick buildups are optimal for fading in and cutting back quickly. Excellent roller.
