WOW, i cant belive its been 10 years already since i bought this great cd, there are not to many cds out there that cover thye french punk circuit like this cd does, sadley this has been oop for a long time but if you cant find it here on discogs try amazon.fr you may find it there, this is a great selection of songs from great bands out of france from 1977 to 1980, i have always loved the stinky toys,plastic bertrand and taxi girl but you also get songs by the guilty razors, electric callas and metal urbain, since i dont speak french the booklet does not help much as the text is all french but what a spin this disc is, this is a great starter for anyone interested in what was going on in paris and its outskirts while london was booming with the sex pistols, the damned and the clash, besides london, new york and L.A paris had a real rocking punk scene as well and this disc proves that very well, i wish a 4 cd box set of more great stuff that includes the likes of little bob story would come out at some point!!!!!! play loud......... a box set of the best france had to offer from 76 to 81 would be awsome!!!!!! but for now try to find this cd.
