"Columns Musica Oscura" is an equal partnership between Columns (Arjen Terpstra) and Anthony Rooley.
"The Monteverdi Circle" is a continuing series which explores the composers who influenced Monteverdi and those who were influenced by him.
The CD and the 48-page booklet are sheltered in a standard jewel case with black tray.
The booklet contains notes in English, French, German and Italian, as well as biographies of the musicians.
It also contains the sung-texts in original old Italian and the translations into English, German and French.
