I also found a copy at a record fair for very cheap a few weeks ago. The sleeve is in great condition even without a split. The record itself sounds OK with a little background noise. What a great record this is! A treasure!

I found this record at a used record in the Tampa, Fl area about 5 years ago, for a whoping $3. The recordings are excellent early 50's original recordings in mono. It is great to hear them as they were recorded again after so many years. I was lucky that the record is in a very good condition with minor surface noise. The cover is in good condition as it has a 5" split at the bottom. I have found listings for it in some of the record price guides with a very high rating in the $2000+ catagory if it were mint condition. As I have just purchased a true mono cartridge, the playback is excellent and very enjoyable. Early Etta James, Marvin and Johnny, The Cadets, The Teen Queens and several more great artist are all on here as they were 50 odd years ago. As RPM records was apart of the Modern records group this album was also released under the Modern label as well as the Crown label in the early 60's. If you can find any of them, grab them, you will not be dissapointed.
