Blast-a-thon black metal from Italy, fairly Swedish-sounding in the vein of Marduk/Setherial/Dark Funeral/etc.; easily categorized, but without being an obvious rip-off of any one band. What they lack in distinctive identity or stylistic breadth, they compensate for with ruthless enthusiasm and grimly workmanlike musicianship, to the extent that what could have been an unremarkable collection-filler, instead ends up being one of the better examples of this style that I've come across. As insanely fast and ferocious black metal goes, this is probably the equal of Marduk at their best, and probably better than DF have *ever* been (sorry guys). Considering the rock-bottom prices this is going for on Discogs, there's no reason for anyone who digs good old Scandinavian-style BM not to purchase it.
