Except for a purist, this was every Elvis and Country fans dream come true! Only if he could have had a duet album in his lifetime. Simply said, every song is vocally and technologically perfect. Well, maybe not every one. Perhaps this opinion is in the minority, but The First Noel was not a good match for Elvis. Certainly in 1954 he could have done a good job, but not in 1971. If you have never heard another version of this song, you might think it was ok. There could have been a lot more liner notes too, but maybe this could be mended in a future release.
