Just got my copy and it's perfect so far; I ordered it in May and was told by LITA that they had horrible pressing problems and encouraged not to order. On a whim I emailed them last week and they said the pressing problems were fixed last summer. So it sounds like if you're looking for this edition, be sure to get one manufactured after May 2018. So great to have this classic on vinyl once again.

Ordered this album on June 15, 2018 from LITA and there were no issues when I received and played both discs on June 23. I hope that the rest of the inventory at Light in the Attic is as good as this.

got my replacement records in the mail days ago, I finally had the opportunity to check them out today and they are perfect, no warps, skips, flaws or anything end to end perfect, happy with the way LITA handled this and its unfortunate how long it took since the pre-order to actually getting records that played but I am happy and glad I made my purchase and look forwards to buying more LITA records in the future.

My replacement discs are ALSO defected with ALL defects possible for a LP.100% bullshit pressing, #2...Just can't understand how a pressing can end up this bad, they must be total jerks at the pressing plant!TOTAL WASTE!!!

Replacements arrived, flat, centered, no pressing issues, Plays perfect, sounds beautiful. It's a shame this is so hit or miss.

Just got my replacements. Music-wise it sounds great, but the pressing itself seems to have defects (nicks in the vinyl causing audible clicks, etc.) Pick your poison I guess, warps or clicks.

Like most Rainbo Pressings, and Light in the Attic/Universal Special products, my copy is wildly off-center on one side. I once tried to engage LITA on their off-center product and they just blew me off. Same for Rainbo. I say avoid this title.

I emailed LITA and yes, like stated they are "aware of the situation" and told me they are working on it and will get back in contact. I appreciate that and will update once I hear from them on the issue. I would expect a site that solely focused on vinyl to be good on their word so we will see...

The package is really good, sleeve within a picture sleeve is a nice touch albeit basic paper. The outer is not a gatefold but I don't see that as a problem. The lyric and inner booklet is a nice add on that compliments the splendid colours in the pressings which I have found to have a few mild warps that don't affect play at all. The pressing sound quality is excellent virtually silent so the jazzy hip hop is uninterrupted. Killer album killer vinyl. Best deal in a while..

Hate complaining, but my disc one of this blue/purple is the dreaded combination of warped and off center. The first couple tracks must have my stylus moving a square inch (up, down, left, right). Disc two is perfect, and the overall package otherwise is great. I've never requested a replacement before... wonder if Light in the Attic would be cool about it?

Another warped arrival here...LP1 more so than LP2, but both are victims of what is now appearing to be a widespread pressing defect. As soon as I opened up the mailer today I could tell we had a problem. On a positive note, the records are beautiful and overall the reissue presentation is outstanding. What I was able to listen to without my tonearm bouncing all around sounds fantastic!

Mine is extremely warped but seems to play OK, I also have a damaged cover/sleeve. The 2nd record seems ok, but has a slight warp to it for sure.

Mine, too. Exactly as you described. I emailed LITA customer service yesterday and they said it is an issue they are aware of and they are working on a plan to resolve this issue (whatever that may be).

I have the Orange colored version....Fantastic pressing, sounds amazing but cant any fcuk'n pressing plant nowadays produce a flat record???Headz up, both my records a badly lipped out and warped!

I have the gold, and record 2 is warped beyond playable. Apparently most or all of them have this issue. I have been in contact with Light in the Attic and they’re addressing it. Waiting to hear on the solution. I would contact them.

oh shit that's a HUGE bummer, yeah man that's 100% totally upsetting. in cases like this where a record is being repressed for the first time their quality control should be the HIGHEST, it'd be a pretty major fuck up if the majority of them came out warped/bowled. I don't know if blame is with the label but someone should be doing their job at the plant 100%mine should be in the mail soon, cant wait to see what "bag of tracks" I get, i'll be gutted if I waited that long only to get a warped record that I cant "DJ" with but only listen too... the "white" repress of "Blowout Comb" I got was immaculate in quality.

Well worth $28 for a 2xLP pressing with beautiful well crafted cover and inserts. Plus the commentary in the book is great. The color of the vinyl actually compliment the original artwork without taking from the sound at all. Thank you for repressing this.

cant wait to get mine in the mail I got that blue/lavender blend been waiting for a along time to cop this album and was so glad to see LITA involved, I was able to get a copy of "Blowout Comb" on white vinyl years ago when it was re-released and this will fit in lovely with the collection!!
