Notes
"THE COMEDY OF HART AND LORNE" is a series of skits taken from the CBC Radio Network Variety series, "The Russ Thompson Show", which ran during the 1967-68 season, of which Lorne and Hart were a weekly feature. Both University educated Hart Pomerantz (a practicing lawyer in Toronto) and Lorne Michaels ( a B.A. from the University of Toronto) started working together as a comedy team a couple of years ago. During that time, they have appeared on many of CBC Radio and Television variety programmes and presently are working in Hollywood, involved as contributing writers for the "Phyllis Diller Show" We feel their comedy is distinctly Canadian and we hope that you will be able to use many of these skits, from this , our first comedy transcription, in your programming " (Dave Bird).
