Four Tet - Kool FM mp3 album

Kool FM is somewhat different to what many would expect of Four Tet. However, I can clearly sense Four Tet's mark on this which makes it all the more interesting to appreciate especially taking into consideration the amount of generic breakbeat tracks out there. There's no harm breaking from the mould as a producer from time to time. Clearly Four Tet wanted to express himself in a different way and I respect this. I get the concept and i'm sure many others will as well. It's all a matter of personal taste, musical influences and perception. Thanks for pressing this one separately Kieran :)

I absolutely love this!

Interesting 130 bpm brokebeat kinda thing; may not be a 'banger', but a neat little tribute to the Kool FM crew, and a very useful DJ tool ;-) Doesn't matter to me if he slapped it together in a couple hoursBliss mix = the atmosphere from the A side, with the quick MC "check" sample (is that Det?!?).. not sure what this side is for (I never really got "ambient")

I think this one should have stayed on kieran's hard drive... although I haven't heard the flip yet.

If Kieran did that then I wouldn't have had the pleasure of listening to and buying this cut!
