The track ‘Nil By Mouth’ is using a short looped sample during a minute or more at around 2:20, extracted from the introduction of the title ‘Nautilus’, by Bob James, originally released in 1974 on his album ’One’.

One of the most refreshing albums to date, ever. Immense hip-hop beats combined with abstract and trip-hop instrumentals. This album proofs that electronic music ain't fake at all. I will never get tired of it.In spite of disliking a lot that somewhat irritating and repetitive noise in "Poontang", it's close to perfection.I strongly recommend this gem if artists like DJ Shadow and The Herbaliser mean something to you. Hurry up because these things are becoming super rare.

"...palm trees in the place, melon in the race, bananas in a case, shades on my face..."Must have listened to this album more times than Lewis Hamilton changes his wardrobe. I got onto them when a free Wall of Sound cassette was given away with DJ magazine mixed by Touche. I actually think Wall of Sound was the wrong label for this artist, they would have been more suited to a Jazz Fudge or Ninja Tune as the album is far less ephemeral than most of the other stuff on the label. I always reiterate the introduction to Gemini IV incident in extreme cases of exhaustion when doing a bicycle tour or running as it always seemed to me a a message beamed from the oceans of the moon. Now repeat the first line of this comment, over and over and over.

If the word "underrated" came up in a dictionary, this is what would be mentioned. This is pure chilled out Abstract Hip-Hop with a bit of Big Beats mixed in too. An amazing record with lovely beats, samples and a dose of good humour and turntablism too. This also features some nice guest spots from obscure rappers such as Sense Live, Tilo-T, Season and Joie Bunsen. While "The Antidote" (the second LP, when Regal left Touche) was a pretty good album, this album is even more dope, that is a perfect record to get high too, or just to chill out to the funky beats. Slick!
