Mellow Trax - Phuture Vibes mp3 album

I did like this very much when it came out, but was rather dissapointed when i heard: "Sinus - Blob / Sinus - Go Blow" as it seems that its a total ripp off! Who made the original tune then? They both sample the loop from Emmanuel Top's Acid Phase, they both use the same arrangement and both feature 303 parts from "Our Destination - No Escape" Anyway, Phuture Vibes has at least the very cool vocal from Animal House in it, which is quite original ("What? Over? You say over? NOTHING is over until we decide it is!") For those who haven't heard any of the above, expect a really strong acid influenced stomping tune.

I'm not sure who ripped off whom - wasn't "Sinus - Go Blow" (1999) published later than this one (1998, see the other releases)? And the connection between these two tracks and Emmanuel Top's "Acid Phase" is rather weak, at least in my ears. In every case, I'd say the Mellow Trax record is better than every other of the mentioned records. I rarely heard such a funky and energizing acid tune - except "Higher State Of Consciousness" by Josh Wink, maybe.
