"In 1981, William Bennett offered Bianchi a record contract, which Bianchi signed unchecked. It was based on a "joke contract" that Steven Stapleton of Nurse With Wound had sketched. The contract assumed all rights to Bianchi's work. After delivery of the tapes Bennett edited-in speeches by Nazi leaders, and instead of the relatively unsensational name MB, it was published under the alias Leibstandarte SS MB, named after the SS unit that worked as bodyguards to Adolf Hitler."

I do love these Come Org MB albums, but largely they consist of material from other releases, merely retitled. For instance, "Weltanschauung" is an extract from "NH/HN" and "SS 20 Attack" is basically the second half of side one of "Regel" !

Though crippled and manipulated by William Bennett (the head of Whitehouse), this piece clearly shows up the brilliance of Maurizio Bianchi. Especially "SS20 Attack" is a gorgeous drone-track, making you feel as if you were bound onto a sounding bell.
