It's interesting. This is a very nostalgic album, even when it was produced, in '78, it's very much a love letter to another era of songwriting and recording. There's a rolled-off quality to it, a top shelf cut that is perhaps intended to evoke the softer sound of lo-fi 78 shellac records and AM radio. Still, there were higher-fidelity recordings being made almost two decades earlier, so I take a dim view. If I want rolled off highs, I'll punch out my tweeter with a hammer. c_c
