The "Koploper Hots" compilations were exclusively handed out by Dutch newspaper conglomerate "Perscombinatie Distributiebedrijf" as a promotional gift to kids who distributed the Dutch newspapers "De Volkskrant", "Trouw" and "Het Parool" from door to door. In this campaign, the word "Koploper" referred to the paperboys and -girls, doing their work rain or shine.This first volume was followed by a volume 2 in 1992.
