This is a great record. David's compositions are interesting and representative of the singer songwriter genre. I like Happy in Hollywood and Spaceship Earth ( very 70's) , particularly. Check out David's work with John Klemmer, the LA based Tenor Saxophone virtuoso.Would like to hear more from David Batteau. Unfortunately, Happy in Hollywood seems to behis only release.

I think this is almost as good as the Batteaux lp. It's really well written AOR and I am surprised I haven't seen this mentioned. There are a couple of okay tracks but the good tracks are superb.
