I picked this one up on a whim at the record store a while ago when I couldn't find the thing I was meant to buy that day. I can't really say I'm really a big consumer of breaks but I always like the stuff and is fun to dance to and nice to play on the decks. 'Screwball' is a bit electroinfluenced but has a good growling bassline and nice synthwork. 'Hell Up In Harlem' is of funky character and has some nice deep bottom end. The track has alot of quirky electronic sounds to it along with a repeated vocal in the second half. 'Soul Vibrates' utilizes a beat with almost a solid charachter, various elements of gradual distortion is used though out the track which helps to emphasise the dirty bassline 'Foxy Moron' by Soul of Man is like most SoM production, a solid slab of funky breaks. You have quirky computer sounds sharing it's soundscape with highly reverbed strings and hard hitting drums. 'Bullet Train' is a big bassline-driven cut and this one sounds soft in the beginning but goes off quite hard. 'Get Kinky' uses a slowed down vocal from Missy Elliott's 'The Rain' and is a acidinfused techy number 'Twister' rounds off this set with a funky nuskool production with a really deep bass and an subtle acidline that goes off really big after the second break
