Well, goddamn. This is the moment I’ve been waiting for since Hip Hop first hit my ears at 10 years old. I’ve come a long ass way, y’all. From growing up on an island on the other side of the world from where the culture was created; to attempting the art, finding I wasn’t terrible at it and working on my craft; to building a team and setting up the essential elements to turn this into a viable business; to signing a distribution deal in the US that lead my brother and I to move to Toronto, Canada to build both a new life and to be where we needed to be to succeed; to relocating to Montreal with my Jamaican/Canadian Queen and having the most successful year in my life in 2013; to finally releasing my debut album to the world in 2014 – twelve years since my voice was first heard on CD.
