My cd looks perfect but skips and stutters at around the 30-second mark on track 4 even though the timer on my player continues to count the seconds as though nothing is wrong. I was gonna buy a new cd but I see another seller has the same problem as I have. Is this common.? Any of you guys had the same grief?

I feel fortunate that this meticulously crafted mix was my introduction to the monumental Vertigo label. Andy Votel scoured their vaults for noteworthy chunks of funky, spooky, fuzzy prog rock, and threw in bits of audio from a 1997 documentary about the restoration of Hitchcock’s legendary film of the same name. The result is a seamless and incredibly catchy tour that not only brought me much enjoyment on its own over the past decade, but also turned me on to many of the artists who were thrown into Votel’s mixing bowl.
