This deserves a vinyl release! This is Roz at his finest. The boyd rice fan boy that he was is evident here, but he eclipses any recording by Rice by a good mile. The depth of melancoly here is intense. To this day the only recording i own in its original format from the 90's...i want to take this to the grave.

This is a vital recording. Other PE releases are good and great, this one is in a class by itself, and in my mind one of the most important releases in the genre. "Non-Union" drones and echoes; in "Negative Findings" a strange recording of a man goes from English words about rounding up Nazis to what might be another language. In "Atrophy" an old woman talks about her stolen canning jars to a sympathetic social worker against a throbbing pulse .. there is so much inspired weirdness here. "Necessary Discomforts" takes you into its own dark world, and there is even a sampled Hitler speech.
