For this remix album of the Phenomenal Handclap Band, they choose from a variety of remixers from both the electronic and indie rock worlds. The Stallions, for instance, bring in a hoedown stomp to "Tears," Meanwhile, 80Kidz go crazy with the electro on "15 to 20," while Den Haan makes it a pure disco funk. Clock Opera's dark disco thump of "Baby" stands in nice contrast to the sly, easy listening version provided by Virgil Howe. T.H. White (sadly, not the author of the famous Arthurian novels) uses more psychedelic acid-rock and acid-303 treatment for "All of the Above," while Cosmodelica give "Testimony" an almost archaic feel, despite the funk guitar and dub elements. Gomma Records stalwart Munk puts "You'll Disappear" back into the disco with an almost old-school piano house remix, and Coco Electrik dirty up "Dim the Lights" with a gritty, glam version. And, to close the album, Fujiya & Miyagi do a spacious mix of "The Journey To Serra De Estrela." A nice bridge between the dance and indie divide.
