I paid 50p for my copy of this at a boot fair - it's in mint condition!
Ynap
For which of the above 14 mentioned variations of that record exactly?
playboy
Why is it a mispress? Don't see any difference with the other!
Mbon
It's in the notes. 10 words must be entered... very important apparently
Άνουβις
why mispress? don`t understand ? help . . . . . .

Probably more than100 copies made. It's rare but does turn up every now and then. I'm not sure 100 copies is a reliable number.

I wouldn't doubt that the fanclub did re-press 100 copies of the Fall Out record at a certain moment. And, though the colour of the sleeve involved is not mentioned in the Outlandos newsletter, I do believe that these 100 copies could certainly have been released with the orange/black sleeve. But the information (as we have at this moment) from the newsletter is by far to incomplete to suggest that only 100 copies in total have been manufactured with an orange/black sleeve. And that is what the release notes at this sub wrongly seem to suggest IMHO.

Hi.In the Outlandos newsletter : September 1983: Fall Out - The Police's first single, is temporarily out of stock. The record company hope to make another pressing before Christmas.December 1983: Please note: We have had 100 copies of "Fall Out" specially re-pressed - all the members who had their money returned earlier in the year may like to take advantage of the offer before stocks run dry again.December 1983: the Bazaar leaflet lists 100 copies of POLICE's first single now available - for 1,50 UK pounds...I'll try to get the scans.

Concerning the Outlandos newsletter: I think the newsletter did not specify the colour of the sleeve of the re-release of the100 copies but correct me if I'm wrong. If you have more info, please share :)
