The Stylistics, what an invitation to talk about style. Their soul records are sometimes a bit too much Soul for my taste. I like it flavored with rhythm and this album has got it. Most songs are still a bit downtempo. Unfortunately we can't add Downtempo as a style because it is an electronic style from the nineties. This album is from 1980 and The Stylistics incorporated therefore the Disco style. Still featuring their characteristic high pitched vocals, resulting in - how shall i put it - a very cool record.
