Just found a mint copy of this in a box that was destined for the bin... what a tune

Easygroove Mythology last tune from him..Played everywhere, no reason not to, good track.

This Tune is pure class love it just ordered it cant wait to spin it on my decks ;)

Famously - this was a record that didn't exist. In April 92, that week's Mixmag update came out on April the 1st, so as an April fool, they had a review for "Direckt" (an anagram of TRICKED) and called it I got ya, just to ram the point home. They raved about this amazing tune, and gave it five dancing men. I had a few people come into the shop I worked at, desperate for a copy, and a few who'd claimed to have heard it, despite the fact that it didn't exist. The joke ended up being so effective that someone went ahead and made the tune anyway, to cash in on the hype...

I think this track started out as an April fool joke by DMC/Mixmag - the name is an anagram of "Tricked" and the title even "I got ya". They got together with a few big DJs to make up a track that didn't exist and all put it in their charts that week to see what happened. They even did a glowing review of the track for Mixmag Update. When other people then started to chart it too they rang them up and asked them about it. Shortly afterwards someone used the artist/title for this release.

If thats true thats a genious coup by the producer that hijacked that idea and got promotion for free.
