Misjah - Instant DJ EP mp3 album

Instant DJ - first heard it @ Zagreb's Mungos club in February 2005 during one of the Raveolution parties, as the man himslef dropped it in the middle of his set. It has all the trademarks of an instant club classic. It has these huge, block rocking drum kiccks and a bass line thick enough to shove a machete in it, then there is the obbligatory space left both, at the beginning and the end of the track, for the DJs to mix and toy around with, very catchy and effective and fast paced "dadadada" samples, plus at certain points of the track, the whole thing breaks down as this crystal, really vibrant sequence comes in, serving as a pre-take off intrusion! Vile Emperor is a tune I don't think I've put on more than twice, while Jagged had some play a few seasons ago. I remember having heard those nasty noises, interrupted by sratches and the banging percussion, where every hit of the drum kick is emphasized with this clanging bell sound - very club effective material. Overall, two out of these three tracks are bonafide club bangers, with maybe a tad too much bump and balls to work at home. Anyways, a few years ago I remember playing this record to nay-sayers who were blindly convinced how Misjah has completely lost it after abbandoning the acid techno/trance sound of the past. Regardless, this is great, extremely well executed techno music of the highest order!
