Lords Of Chaos - Lords Of Chaos Chapter 1 / Machine Head mp3 album

I don't like this as much as the "Electric Mistress/Spinal Grip" ep, but it is great stuff anyway if you're into Goa trance with technoish and industrial flavours. The production values, like those of the other ep, are great and the Transient vinyl pressing is typically immaculate. The motor bike revving on "Machine Head" will give your system a test and would rip up the dancefloor at a party. ~*~

Machine head is a slower track, 125bpm, it features a motor bike engine being revved up and a very cool vocal sample which is the voice of a radio controller from the Houston command centre giving encouraging remarks to the crew during one of the Apollo moon missions during flight, ( i know this cause i was actually watching a documentary about the apollo flights one night and heard the vocal sample) Lords of chaos chapter 1 is more up tempo, 145 bpm and again features a very cool vocal sample " the universe is ours" that always brings a big grin to my face, it sounds like one of those cylon robots from battlestar galactica, their is very funky break in the middle of the track which is what makes this track so cool and finishes off with the fast 4/4 kick drums, i would give this a 4 out of 5.
