This release is a compilation of two albums with the addition of bonus tracks and alternate mixes.Disc #1, tracks 2 through 12:
Originally issued as the album Diana Ross & The Supremes Join The Temptations (Motown 679) on November 8,1968.
Disc #2, tracks 1 through 10:
Originally issued as the album Together (Motown 692) on September 23,1969.
The following tracks are listed as previously unreleased:
1-1, 1-3, 1-11, 1-13 to 1-18, 2-10, 2-12 to 2-17, 2-19, 2-20.
From booklet credits:
Digitally remastered from the original Motown master tapes.
1-1, 1-3 and 1-11 are from an alternate LP master.
2-10 is from a similar master, where this collection’s undistorted mix was found on the reel after the released, distorted mix.
It is speculated the distorted master was mistakenly used for the original LP.
1-13, 1-14, 1-15, 1-18, 2-19 and 2-20 mixed from the original multi-tracks.
