I've been a huge fan of this album since day one, but today was the first time I heard it on vinyl. I gotta say, it's incredible. Feels like a whole new layer to each song has been added. Fantastic pressing, zero issues.

Had the old TBD Press and saw the negative reviews and claims that the new XL pressing was much better ... well, received the XL pressing and was super disappointed. While it sounded better over all, it had a tremendous amount of surface noise that the TBD didn't have. Almost unlistenable, even after a spin clean and anti static treatment.

My copy has 'an issue' where by the start of 'All I Need' constantly loops, have wet cleaned and dry cleaned but unable to resolve; any tips from more knowledge people?

UPDATE: Although was bought brand new, took a very close look at effected area using magnifying glass. There was a sticky brown spot, carefully used a toothpick and rubbed over a few times and it dislodged, quick brush with anti static brush and plays perfectly....very happy...although unsure on what damage I've done :s

Thanks for response, I've played the record repeatedly over the issue with and increased amount of pressure and whilst it plays through, when played back normally it slips again.Tried cleaning and using toothpick but still no luck..Any other tips?

Not an expert, but check visually that there is no dirt stuck to the record there. It happened that I had to scratch of some dirt with my nails; record wasn't damaged and played fine. There probably was some better way of doing it but I didn't know and I got lucky I guess. If that doesn't work, it might be that your record player is not able to track it. It happens. You can try to adjust your tone-arm or try with a different stylus or cart or tonearm...

Sound out of this is amazing although the disk is unclean and there is a small bump in the wax affecting the start of videotape quite disapointed, not overly surprized though from what i had heard about this pressing.

Same here, "All I Need" does have a loop and distortion over and over.

I've found that with issues like this if you put a little pressure on the stylus (usually the weight of a finger will do) at the spot of the looping then the looping may stop. Sounds a little ghetto, but it's worked in the past for me.

I agree, great press. Personally, my favourite track is House of Cards... I can't listen to this album without skipping to this song first. What more is there to say.... it's Radiohead :)
