The Absolute Family - Encense's Road mp3 album

I bought this when it came out... I had never heard of this label or artist before and picked it up because of the amazing artwork - it blew my head off in the shop when I listened to it and still does today!! Immaculate production, A & B sides both offer something different yet complementary. A versatile piece for sure. Never left my bag since 2001! Class record, can't understand why it has always been so cheap and perhaps overlooked?

Beautiful early 2000's underground house classic. 'Encense's Way' is a totally hypnotic, feminine track full of mystery, with an unforgettable, sexy and tense bassline, and a very subtle psychedelic disco-ish atmosphere. The production and sound are of very high standards courtesy of the Adult Only crew, which includes Chris Carrier, one of France's most underrated house producers. A rare find.
