A fantastic tracklisting is marred by very uninspiring mixing. Nearly every single mix is fluffed in some way and this really detracts from the whole experience. I understand that no-one is perfect, but it is essential for mixes to have a flow and if this flow is interrupted by incompetent deck skills then this leaves me as a listener feeling unrewarded (another example of this is Jeff Mills: Exhibitionist Mix - simply jarring on the ear).It's a real shame as some of my favourite tracks are on this mix (Kit Clayton's Delay01 remix and Oliver Ho's Mutate & Survive versions to name but two), and the contributing artists deserve better exposure than having their tunes wrecked in a plethora of train wrecks.

No. I just like listening to competent DJing and this isn't an example. Hell, I love Jeff Mills at the liquid Rooms which has plenty of fluffs, but the sheer energy of that and the fantastic track selection overrides the 'human factor'. I don't yearn for perfection and I wouldn't have made a point of mentioning it, but it was a pretty poor listening experience for me, hence the note of disappointment..

Wow are you used to only Live and Serato mixes or something? He did just fine. There's the human factor here, never a train wreck IMO. Maybe an overlap of beats that were a little off but that's it from what I remember.
