What ever happened to the 1.5" mini Lp that I read about?

How come nobody has commented on how loud and distorted this disc is? verging on unlistenable... Is the vinyl any better?

Came with a sticker: LIMITED EDITION 180 GRAM WHITE VINYL, but my LP is the standard black version.

Some black lines on one side of mine, doesn't spoil the enjoyment though, lovely sound and beautiful, beautiful songs, loving this! Playing it is making me want to see them live!

There are no black spots on my version. Looks perfect.

Are we talking about the US copy here? My US copy was a nice flat pressing loaded with very audible ticks and pops throughout both sides, and on side two it had non-fill on one of the tracks. My copy is anything BUT a clean quiet pressing. Cleaned it on a Hannl RCM BTW, and played it on a SOTA Star Sapphire with Origin Live Silver arm and Soundsmith Hyperion cartridge. This copy goes back!

My European "white vinyl" version has black spots all over, and a lot of scuffs and cracks. Fucking shite.

Referring to the EU-version of the White vinyl:No blue or black spots on my copy - but it is incredibly quiet, meaning, I have to crank up the volume abnormally high to listen to it. Sounds familiar to anyone?Awesome album, though, for sure in an adaequate high-quality edition, too.

Awesome pressing, perfectly flat and silent. Great album too, possibly their best.

Weird. The numbering is 0001, i thought it would be like 370x. Why?????

4AD have stopped using the AD/BAD/CAD numbering system they've had since 1980 and have started again from 0001 with this album. The Pixx album will be 4AD0002.

Background noise on my copy. It's the black LP (Europe version)

Some blue and black spots in the white vinyl, by which the sound is not compromised. Same thing with your copies? Same with the U.S. ed.?

Limited as to how many copies, anybody?Very strong album. Not one weak track on it. It seems to me, the band has come to itself more than ever.

I've read there are 3000 copies of the limited version, don't quote me on that though.

Another fantastic album from Future Islands.....great pressing too. My copy is flat and sturdy.
