"This compilation of Bowie tracks was hand selected by David to celebrate Iman's new book", according to the liner notes.
The promo CDR accompanying this first print of the book "I Am Iman", in November 2001.
Approximately 200 copies were signed by Bowie and Iman, on the occasion of Christmas 2001.
The CD is signed by Bowie - The book is Signed by Iman.

The five-track, twenty seven minute CD was compiled by David as a promotional device to be sent out with review copies of Iman's book. Back then it was relatively easy to pick up a copy of the book signed by Iman, complete with the CD signed by David. Indeed, twenty copies of the signed CD were given away in a BowieNet chat with David and Iman.
"During the chat you will have the chance to win 1 of 20 autographed promotional CD's and 1 of 10 autographed copies of 'I AM IMAN'. The 'I AM IMAN' promotional CD is a limited edition compilation, unavailable in stores, containing five tracks hand picked by David himself."
