Usually I strike out on RSD, I can't believe I actually found it! Four of my favorite AIC songs on vinyl for the first time, I was like a kid in a candy store. That being said, the songs sound very good. Definitely more classic midrange and not as muddy or as much treble as in the CD mixes. Layne's vocals are amazing and haunting on all, but especially Get Born Again. I'm very pleased with it, it's a bummer some people received two of the same 7", no problems here.

So, does vinyl sound much better than CD? I didn't quite understand.
NiceOne
Amazing sound and great pressing. Must-have in every collection, indeed.

Sounds ok I don't think these have been mastered from original master tapes but it's worth it to have these on vinyl would have loved fear the voices and lying season mabye another 7inch is due or a ten with some early stuff would be nice.

These other countries are OVERCHARGING for shipping because they know the demand for these is great. I ca guarantee it does NOT cost 21£ or 21€ in shipping charges for 2x7" vinyl records to ship to the USA.

Agreed! I got this from an awesome seller in France. €4.00 shipping to Canada and it arrived in less than a week.

Got two of the same record in mine (Get Born Again/Died). Bummer, because now they're sold out so I can't even exchange it for a good one. Also, one of them is warped.

Why dont you guys swap your respective duplicates? Problem solved.

rekkidguy Got two of the same record in mine (Get Born Again/Died). Bummer, because now they're sold out so I can't even exchange it for a good one. Also, one of them is warped. Same here man, ended up with two of the same (What The Hell Have I/A Little Bitter). It's frustrating since they're all sold out! Mine aren't warped though.

That's a pretty weird comment on rekkidguy's (understandably) bad review, Laynesgirl50 :D How could he "think ahead of time" any better? He bought his copy in-store on RSD. How would he know that it's defective in a way you're only able to find out upon opening the damn thing. What do you suggest? Buy two or three copies in case one of them is a piece of shit? That's certainly not how it's supposed to be. And: he could be homeless and have no place to live? I mean, yeah, he could. But that's a little out of context, don't you think? Are you implying that rekkidguy should shut the fuck up when he's ripped off because life could be so much worse?Bottomline is: bummer indeed! Fairly costly RSD-vinyls are delivered defective on quite a regular basis. You wouldn't just accept that with any other product, would you? "Your new washing machine arrived broken? So what? That's life. Deal with it!" I suggest you (rekkidguy) write the record company an email about this and insist on a replacement or refund. I think it's only fair if you pay 20 bucks for a 7" to receive a half-way decent product. I mean, you hardly come across a warped record pressed in the 70s or 80s. And RSD stuff is by all means expensive enough to make sure that customers don't have to get used to thinking "Uhhgh I'm soooo excited if this record is gonna sound good or if it's a wobbling piece of 50$-crap on my turntable".Just my 2 cents.

Well if you know any better than you'd know fhat the record stores in the USA sold out of these in 4 hours on the actual RSD. I suggest you check eBay as that's the only other way you'll get one. Between the overcharging for shipping from another country to the US thru here or be overcharged on eBay in general. There were only 4000 copies made. Next time maybe think ahead of time. I knew about the last 2 AiC RSD releases 2 months in advance, so I planned accordingly. As far as your getting 2 of the same records, well it could be worse; you could be homeless and no place to live. Next release is on 5/19/17; "Singles" Movie Soundtrack being reissued. You can actually pre-pay & pre-order now. Many online stores are doing that, including Amazon and PearJam "Ten" Club.

Pretty good pressing very good sound. If u like these songs I recommend it. Don't pay more than like 20 bucks though.

I completely agree. I planned ahead and was able to leave my email address with several different online record stores. If they had any left after they closed on Saturday, I got an email. I was able to get 2 this way and for only $16.99; not $40-$45; that's just ridiculous.
