Released for free on Nick Bertke's old website (www.NickBertke.com).On the download page the composer gave the following atmospheric description of this composition:
"Alone in a dark pit. All emotion is lost. My heart is but a cold rock. I hear screaming around me but I don't care. Figures rise from the darkest corners but do not frighten me. I am flashed with glimpses of heaven and light but they have no affect on my will to remain here. Darkness helps me, [darkness] is the answer, I am comfortable here."
