Berlin's own The Blow Ups have been around for a few years now. Playing a solid mix of Garage,Punk,R'n'R with hints of Powerpop and most of all a sincere FUN attitude. We're not talking about purist sixties sounds but a very personal approach to the above mentioned genres that builds a real cool album. Some of the tracks have been written a few years back but they match perfectly with the latest songs. Which leads to the psych cover artwork done by Alessandra Monoriti: Fuzz guitars, tremolo, rave ups, cool reverbs and echoes, pounding drums, direct riffs...and it all work just fine with your fave german beer! Tune in and have a drink on these guys' debut album. They deserved it.
