Nice to hear that singer Pat Harris is still with us,(and still gigging!). PH is the only ‘’female’’ singer I know of who recorded (1963), ‘’The Hippy Hippy Shake’’. Later that very same year, ‘’The Swinging Blue Jeans’’, had a U.K. number 2 chart hit with their cover version of a classic originally written and recorded (1959) by, Chan Romero. To her credit ‘’Pat Harris and The Blackjacks’’ did a superb cover, and it fully deserved to have been a big chart hit way back in late 1963. A couple of years ago now I was most fortunate to have come across an original copy in near excellent condition, as this is I believe a rare or scarce 45. I also have this on CD as well. Bill.

I am the artist on the sleeve of this cover I had never seen this photo before I was very shocked to see it ,but also very pleased , as I have shown to all my family , and I'm still gigging.
