This first and only release by The Kites was indeed released on a small indie label called September Gurls Records. Release date was either late 1987 or early 1988. After the release of The Kites, the band played a handful of live dates -- opening for The Dream Syndicate, The Go-Betweens & Nikki Sudden -- before disbanding into Hinterland obscurity....[B1 is misspelled -- it should be "Broken Blossoms"]
