its all about the money not the record, shame. There's a reason Derrick May tapped Aril Brikha for the Transmat/Fragile stable, its because he feels it, Detroit that is. This track is simply a classic slice of Detroit soul music, not techno, not house, but soul. Timeless strings, a warm undulating bassline, and a lushly eq'ed vocoder all come together in a simple but pure groove of the highest quality machine music. Pity it didnt get a wider release, as lots of heads would love this track, but no doubt the Detroit Pirate's will bootleg it sooner or later. Amazing record, buy on sight, though not for THAT much!
